Last year I bought a D series two tone submariner from an authorized dealer. Not thinking straight, I had it shipped to save a couple of bucks on tax. Soon after I bought it, the salesman quit and now (about 8 months after) the store is closing down)Ever since then I have had a bad taste about this whole thing and often think weather the watch I'm wearing is authentic. Numbers on the watch and the papers match, rubber seal on crown is there, but no laser etched crown @ 6 o'clock. Watch feels and seems real, but I have seen fakes on Internet that could fools some of us.
Any way, if any of you knowledgeable guys could help me get peace of mind I would truly appreciate it.
