    Hi,

I recently purchased a limited edition Omega Speedmaster chrono, a beautiful watch overall.

However I have noticed that 5 times out of 10, when I activate the chrono, the seconds hand jumps a bit before it hits the 1st second on the dial. Hence, it jumps to 5/10ths of the first second and then starts. Now this may not seem like much but imagine timing a 100 mt world record sprint. You'd clock a guy at 10 seconds as opposed to 9.3 or 9.5.

Is this normal and should I expect it? Or is it a manufacuting defect and should I return it to Omega for repair?

Any advice from you watch maniacs/connoisseurs will be welcome...please email me at shunkars@yahoo.com      Post Reply
