The buttons are for the stopwatch function. Top right is the start stop and the bottom right is for resetting to zero. The subdials are for the stopwatch time except for one which should be for the seconds of the watch. (not 100% sure about the three functions, but can check once you turn on the stopwatch).
Note: I think the sweep hand (second hand) revolves around the watch every 30 seconds vs 60 seconds on this watch.
