Not very descriptive, but...... by watches on Mar 02,2005 01:16 AM It sounds like there is a problem with the crown. All of these issues seem to be related.
When you wind the watch, do you feel the gears being wound? After 40 turns or so, is it very tight? If not, you are spinning the crown and not winding the mechanism. When you shook it, the rotor must have given the watch a little juice, but manually winding does not seem to be working. Do you have an issue setting the date or time? Did you drop the watch? Play golf with it? Any trauma could disengage the gears.
What did Breitling say was wrong? Sounds like it was not fixed properly.
