Many will do the job satisfactory, but there are other factors to determine.

1. Noise. They should be virtually silent so they can be present in the bedroom. Many make grinding noises.

2. You need to like what it looks like.

3. They should have a decent manufacturers warranty. 2-3 years.

4. The price can vary considerably.

The three best brands are Orbita, Wolf Design and Scatola del Tempo. (in no particular order)
