My friend spent about 6 month with Breitling in Switzerland who tried to convince him that the second hand stutter was normal for an automatic watch. When he moved the watch rapidly with the chrono on, the second hand would pause and then "catch up". This seems like a similar issue with the movement. The minute hand sounds like more of a concern which should be looked at. Nothing serious and probably will only require a minor adjustment, but if you are not familiar with Breitling, oh boy, get ready to do some waiting. Automatic watches are great, but don't always work out of the box.
