    Try your dealer.

Mine just quoted me £230 + delivery to overhaul my Superocean Chrono Automatic.

For that they reface the case and buff the strap back to showroom, or as close as possible.

They strip the movement and replace any damaged or worn parts.

    Re-seal and pressure test.

Generally returning your watch to as close to showroom as is possible, at the very least knocking years off its appearance.

I dont see yours being more than £100 over that price so in my opinion ditch the guy on the side, no matter how good he is, and try Breitling Themselves. Above all else it will be stamped and warrantied in your book by them and keep the value of your watch at its maximum.
