I have a B-1 that is 6 years old. When the battery went after three years, I sent it to be serviced at a store in South Florida. I got it back and it worked fine. In the last couple of months, the second hand and the analog hands have stopped working, but, the digital continues to work. My guess is that I need another battery. I live in Florida and called the same store I sent it to previously. The store owner said that I will need a complete overhaul. She actually said that a complete overhaul should be performed every three years. Does this sound right to anyone? She indicated that the charge would be $350-$400 for the work. Is this a reasonable charge? Can anyone recommend a service center, even if it is outside Florida, that they have found reputable and cost effective?
