re: BUSA by watches01 on Dec 19,2003 11:42 PM Welcome to Breitling Service. I had a Rose Gold Split overhauled for $1,000. The best part was waiting 6 months for the work to be done. Breitling service in the US is very good, but they do send everything past a chrono back to Switzerland. Mine was sent back to fix the timing which was off by many seconds per day. I have never seen them trade that low especially in platinum.
You can try RGM service in PA who are great, but I am not sure they handle Breitling. If not, they might be able to recommend someone to you. $1,200 is serious money.
