A tourbillon is basically a gyroscope which counteracts the forces of gravity and the movement of your wrist and arm. Depending on the position of the watch on your wrist and how fast you move your arm or the gravitational force, effects the accuracy of the watch. The tourbilon counters all of these forces making the watch a bit more accurate. It certainly allows for bragging rights more than anything else. We have not found them to be a significant improvement in real world conditions, but is a technological marvel and pretty cool to look at.      Post Reply
