I own a Patek Philippe ref 3671, circa 1975 which has a yellow gold 18ct rectangular stepped case with snap on back and short down turned lugs. It has a cal 177 movement with gyromax balance, white dial with black Roman numerals and black baton hands. The movement is very slim. I have noticed that my model ref. 3671 looks identical to the model 3803. Please could you tell me why Patek Philippe would have virtually identical models with such similar cases and movements?
